Dviejų žmonių nužudymu įtariamo Drąsiaus Kedžio mažametės dukrelės globėjai visą naktį budėjo prie Kauno apygardos teismo teisėjos Neringos Venckienės ir advokato Aido Venckaus namų. Policija incidentų neužfiksavo, tuo tarpu susirinkusieji teigia, kad darys viską, kad tik mergaitė nebūtų perduota jos motinai, nors tai Lietuvos Respublikos vardu penktadienį nusprendė teismas.
Kelios dešimtys žmonių naktį iš penktadienio į šeštadienį toliau budėjo prie Venckų namų, o kad nebūtų šalta, jie susikūrė laužą, glaudėsi didelėje palapinėje.
Žmonės teigia, kad esą pareigūnams buvo nurodyta mergaitę naktį šturmu paimti iš namų, tačiau jie atsisakę. Prie namų budintys kauniečiai teigia pasipriešins policininkams, jeigu jie bandys D. Kedžio dukrą išsivežti ir ragina visus žmones atvažiuoti į Garliavą.
Penktadienio popietę į Venckų namus buvo atvykęs antstolis, tačiau patekti į namus jam nepavyko. Temstant prie būrio susirinkusiųjų prisijungė ir kunigas Jonas Varkala.
